THURSDAY

7 – 10 am Breakfast @ Whistlin Dixie for a hot meal, the best cup of coffee in town, and shop for locally made products and more.

10 am – 2 pm Explore Downtown Folkston & The World-Famous Funnel to shop and experience why railroad enthusiasts and visitors from all over make the trip to our historic downtown.

11 am – 12 pm Lunch @ The Folkston Railroad Heritage Museum inside the Historic Depot & Visitor Center to step back in time, learn local and railroad history, and grab a boxed lunch to eat now or on the road.

12 pm – 3 pm Drop-In @ Okefenokee Industrial Park to meet with industry leaders and economic development professionals.

7 pm Gator Tail Reception @ The Farm at Okefenokee join us for local cuisine and meet the developers of this farm-focused sustainable living residential development near the Wildlife Refuge. Due to limited capacity, registration is required to attend.

FRIDAY

10 am -12 pm Visit the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge to look for 500-year-old cypress trees, endangered species, and more. Register for a guided boardwalk tour or explore the visitor center on your own. Entrance fees are waived for Okefenokee Gateway Getaway guests.

10:30 – 12:00 pm Guide Boardwalk Tour

12 pm – 1 pm Lunch @ The Refuge enjoy low-country boil, network, and our region’s hospitality.

1 pm – 3 pm  Okefenokee Adventures (inside the main entrance of the Refuge) on the historic Suwannee Canal 90-minute covered boat tour to see and hear about the mysteries of the prehistoric swamp. Capacity is limited.
